Please scroll down for the Profiler and the BG Tamer. Sorry for the scrolling bit; Blogger is having issues with linking to its own widgets. We're working on a way around the problem.
Latest tools, updates, changes...
The SugarCat Profiler and the BG Tamer seem to work in the latest versions of most browsers. I've tested iE7, FF2, Ns8, and Opera9. I don't know about Safari, as I don't have an Apple around any more. In theory, it should work. (For Netscape users: Ns is picky about its global security settings.)
We're working on a FAQ.
Tell me what other tools would make your life easier. We're on the FDMB: Jamie and Boots. PM me through the board, or email me at my gmail address.

The SugarCat Profiler
Here's what you need to do to snag a snazzy profile:
- You must have a javascript-enabled browser to use the Profiler. You will need to have your browser adjusted to allow pop-up windows. I promise there's nothing dangerous in the scripts that run this page, and there will never be any advertising or spyware running from this site. I'm not doing this for money; I'm doing it because I love Boots.
- If you have a profile on the FDMB, copy it and SAVE IT to your computer before you begin.
- Fill out the form below.
- Hit the button at the end of the form.
- A pale blue window will open; it will contain a mess of html code with your data integrated at appropriate places. Your data will appear in bold text so that you can easily locate it if you need to make corrections. (Don't worry, the bolding doesn't affect how your profile will look on the FDMB.)
- If you need to correct anything, close the window with all the code, edit the form below, and push the button again. NOTE: every time you hit the "Gimme Code" button, special characters will be converted to javascript-friendly versions within the form. You may need to delete the code from the form and re-enter the normal character before you hit the "Gimme Code" button a second or third time. I'm sorry about this hassle, and I'm working to find away around it.
- On the blue page, right-click and choose "Select All" to highlight everything on the page, right-click again, and choose "Copy" to copy the information to your clipboard. (I suggest that you leave that blue window open until you've got everything copied and pasted to the FDMB.)
- In another browser window, open the Profile Editor on the FDMB.
- Paste the code into the Profile Editor.
- Submit the data to the FDMB, and take a look at your profile.
- If you like the new profile, save a copy of the code on your computer. You can paste it into NotePad or WordPad or MSWord or whatever. Just be sure you save it. (Now you can close that pesky blue window.)
- Bask in the warm glow of your new profile! Remember, you can edit the profile further inside the FDMB Profile Editor. Go nuts!
Special thanks to the FDMB's Venita. This little tool, as well as the template it generates, are based upon her suggestions for profile content.
Special thanks to Jennifer Madden for her JavaScript Cake Tutorials and Rendered Source Chart extension for FireFox. I didn't really understand how I was going to transfer form data to a template until I read her tutorials. Thanks, Jennifer, you're helping us help diabetic cats!

Organize SugarCat's BG numbers into an easy to read table!
You don't have to fill out every space. Some tips:
- You can fill out the date for one row, but leave the date for the next row empty.
- If you always shoot at a given time every morning, just put "am" in the time slot. Ditto for "pm".
- The table will expand in a horizontal direction for long comments.
